The standard this site is built to, what has been done, what is still short of it, and how to report a page that does not work for you.

Reviewed October 2026. Reports to hello@gulfportroofandstorm.com or (228) 364-1994.

What has been built in

The benchmark used here is WCAG 2.1 at level AA. Each rebuild of this site is checked three ways: driven entirely from a keyboard, listened to through a screen reader, and run through automated tooling, at both narrow and wide screen sizes.

In practice that produces a few specific things. Headings descend in order, so a screen reader user can jump through a long guide by structure instead of listening to it end to end. The accordions that hold the question-and-answer sections open and close from the keyboard, and announce whether they are open. Colour is never the only way something is indicated. Nothing on any page moves, flashes or auto-advances. The cost tables — which are the densest content here — carry proper header cells, so a figure is announced together with the job it belongs to rather than as a loose number in a sequence.

Where it falls short

Two honest gaps. The roof photographs carry a written description, but a line of text cannot convey what a close image of a split fastener washer or a bruised shingle actually shows a sighted reader; the description says what the picture is for, which is less. And those cost tables, correctly marked up as they are, remain dense enough that on a narrow screen they need sideways scrolling, which is workable rather than good.

Neither traps anyone. Every function of this site exists on the telephone: describing what the roof is doing, booking somebody to look at it, asking a price, making a complaint. The line is answered at any hour on (228) 364-1994, and nothing about getting a roofer to your property depends on being able to use a website.

Telling us when something does not work

Email hello@gulfportroofandstorm.com or ring, naming the page and describing what your device did. You will hear back inside two business days. Where we can fix it, we do. Where it sits outside what we control, you get told so plainly and given another way to reach the same information rather than an apology.

Water coming in, or shingles gone after the wind?

Tarping goes on first so the deck stops taking water, then the roof is inspected and documented properly. Across Gulfport, Biloxi and the coast, with the figure agreed before anything is torn off.
